Our group wiki will include requirements for things we do in science class this year.  In addition to doing experiments and projects in class we will record data, show experiment results, and write about what we are doing.  Unit one has been preparing to prefore our science fair project.  We have learned about the scientific method and learned about what needs to be seen in each step.  This involves independent, dependent, and controlled variables as well as using quantitative data.  These steps will help us to meet the need for the projects.  

Standards:

1. Plan and conduct a scientific investigation to test a hypothesis.
2. Evaluate the accuracy and reproducibility of data.
3. Distinguish between variable and controlled parameters in a test.
4. Construct appropriate graphs from data and develop quantitative statements about the relationships between variables.
